Letter From the Principal - January 2007

Dear Bellview Families,

I hope you had a restful winter break  and got to spend some extra time together. We have a lot going on at Bellview this month. Our students will be working with potter Michael Kaplink on some clay projects and we will be having our annual family night complete with lasagna dinner and family activities centered around writing. I hope to see you all there.

The building committee will begin meeting this month to choose an architect and begin the planning phase for our new building. I will be sure to include updates about planning and construction in each Growler to keep you informed.

Many students received some holiday gifts that are great fun, but not appropriate for school. Please remember that if your child needs to bring a cell phone to school it must remain turned off and in their backpack so that learning and instruction is not interrupted. Also be reminded that Heely shoes are not safe without a helmet and are not permitted to be used on school grounds during school hours. Thank you so much for supporting your child’s education!

Sincerely,

Christine McCollom
